Lets Move the Tree (2021)

Lets Move the Tree was a proposal for an ongoing project by Taipei Veterans General Hospital Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology.

The proposal combined a Gaga-inspired activity* with technology, a circled forest is projected on the floor. The journey begins with each patient consuming a candy(or daily pill). Each person is a seed, they acquire water, sunshine or wind to go through and nourish their body. The instructor will give example movements but expect the elderly to use imagination as how the sprouts grow inside of them. Together they make the projected tree grows as big as possible. (Kinect)

It aims as a social connection for the patients, the link between the circled group, the tree and the person him/herself. The gestures and movements focus more on expressive art therapy rather than physical training.

「孿生鬥」
A battle between identical twins.
Our outer-self fully nourished by social media while the inside unprepared and somewhat scattered.
What is turly me and will the battle ever ends?

Over the course of 10 months, working under a small society and preparing for the industry. Eager to define our generation’s voice, while being gaslighted, feeling the horror and self-doubting-loathing, feeling everything. A 100% freaking nightmare, but definitely learned a lot.

Inner Dust (2022)

--- 當人的孤獨感爆發時會化身為一粒灰塵 ---

比起令人感到壓迫、負面的孤獨，我們更傾向用有趣新奇的方式呈現他，我們設計了四個具有不同孤獨故事的灰塵角色(chatbot)，體驗者可以透過與機器人的對話交流，看到多面向的孤獨或找到與自身經驗的共鳴點。我們提取體驗者在對話中所輸入或選擇的變數，將他視覺化，成為獨一無二的灰塵分身/孤獨樣貌，並讓體驗者在共創空間看到不是只有自己身陷其中。

--- One's loneliness erupts, one turns into a speck of dust ---

Inner Dust present loneliness in a more complex way compared to the negative stereotype. 4 dust characters(chatbot), each with a different background story. Through designed dialogue, users find resonance with the robots and the multi-faces of loneliness.

The inputs and the choices users make are then visualized into a one-of-a-kind dust, act as ones loneliness. Every dust is displayed in a co-creation space, implying we are all in this together.

The Bear, the Animals and their Problems. (2021)

An interactive picture book for children age 9-12.

It gives a twist to the chapter “animal breeding”, stepping out of boring elementary textbooks.

Male penguins find the perfect stone, birds-of-paradises dance to impress, dolphins enjoy long foreplay while North American porcupines douse pee to seduce.

With machine learning, children get very cool descriptions with the bears they draw. Their bears will then come to life and take users through a series of challenges.
